Whenever I see a dog in a little jacket or scarf, I just melt. Dogs dressed like little people are my favorite thing. The best is when someone puts a hat on their pet and it bobs when they move. Yesterday I saw a bulldog wearing a poofy pink jacket with a golf cap like a sporty Jackie O. I thought it was so wonderful that this lovely lady put the time and effort into her dog that she does into herself. It is so endearing. I sat and chatted awhile with her and she was very interesting.
You may not think that dogs can get sick because they have furry little coats, but that is not always the case. My dog, Chuck, got sick the other week, primarily because we went out for a jog in the rain. A few days later, Chuck was sneezing every few seconds and acted like a lethargic toddler.
While the vet said he just caught a little cold, he also suggested that I get a dog coat for Chuck. A little while afterwards, I bought him one and now when we decide to go off on a drizzling jog, I don’t have to worry about him getting sick.
